Richmond Dyke is a nice flat walk suitable for all sorts of recreational activity: biking, jogging, long walks. A gravel path running from the arm of the fraser river just south of the airpot runs west and then south along Richmond's coast line until it reaches Steveston village in the south where one can enjoy a fish and chip lunch. The section of the trail running south along the coast is flanked on the west by a vast wetland reserve home to many kinds of birds including Eagles, Owls and Winter Geese.
