stephansmap.org: post to publish!

stephansmap.org is a wiki-style website. A wiki allows users to create, edit, and link web pages easily. Wikis are collaborative websites. stephansmap.org strives to be a community website.

Publishing on stephansmap.org can be as simple as adding a single entry. You can also add many entries: for example, to describe related places, or the history of one place.

We make each entry available as its own webpage on the Internet - it can instantly be viewed by your friends and others.

how to post

  1. Sign up to register your stephansmap.org ID. This makes it easy to keep track of your entries and changes. (Optional)
  2. Click on the new entry link which is at the top-right of each page.
  3. Locate the place of interest, enter date range (optional), and your text. Add photos, lines or labels and spots as needed.
  4. Link your entry with a topic and other existing and related entries. If no topic applies to the subject of your entry, start a new one.

how to add a new topic

Simply edit the home entry, and add a link to your new entry. Then add a tag to your entry: "project" or "overview", or "list".
