Car-free Vancouver Day 2008

Car-free Days have been successully celebrated annually since 2005 in Vancouver bringing out, in 2007, over 40,000 people to a lively party stretching 10 blocks on Commercial Drive. The streets are blocked for cars, and instead filled with music, dancing, and celebration of the community.
